Please see the following links to a map and list of streets that are part of the City's Powell Bill system and which are maintained by the City:
The majority of public right-of-way mowing of City streets and NC DOT streets within the City limits is performed through a private contractor.
The Division works on many sidewalk and curb and gutter construction and repair projects throughout the year. A list of prioritized projects is available from the Public Works Department at 828-652-4224.
