Code Enforcement

The City of Marion is committed to providing citizens with safe, clean, and healthy places to live, work, and play.

The City's Code Enforcement Officer works to maintain community standards by enforcing health and sanitation ordinances against tall grass and weeds, open collection of trash, junk, and debris, junk vehicles, and unsafe dilapidated structures. Code Enforcement Staff work to preserve neighborhood property values by preventing non-compliant building and development, inappropriate business use of residential properties, unpermitted signage, and other code violations.
