Starting in November, City of Marion Water Customers will receive their bill in a new format.
Instead of receiving a postcard, customers will receive their bill in an envelope with a return address from the City of Marion Water Department.
This new format will allow customers to see their monthly water usage for the last year as well as obtain information about various City services thanks to a message section on the invoice, which will allow individuals to learn more about holiday closings, water quality reports, and other important information.
Customers will also receive a return envelope with their bill, which will make mailing in water payments easier.
This billing change does not change the way customers can pay their bills. Individuals can still pay their bill by mail, in person at the Marion Water Department, located at 194 North Main Street, and online at marionnc.org.
