Non-Residential Water/Sewer Service Application
This application is required for all new non-residential customers desiring water/sewer service where a connection already exists. The Public Works Department handles requests for water and sewer service in areas not served by the city, or where water or sewer service connections are not in place in a particular location. If a new connection is being requested in an area not currently served by city water or sewer or you are unsure if service is available in your area please contact the City of Marion Public Works Department at (828) 652-4224 prior to submitting an application for new connection.
All new service outside the City requires approval by City Council and submission of a request for annexation by the property owner. Tap fees, cost recovery charges, a deposit, and other applicable fees must be paid prior to receipt of water or sewer service where service does not currently exist.
